Thankyou so much for a truly splendid week. You can always be relied upon to deliver the goods to a high standard but this year you have surpassed yourself.
There have been many positive remarks made by audience and cast alike (quote from an e-mail sent to me)...

"Hi Jo
I just wanted to send you a positive email!!  As you know Mike and I watched the show last night and despite seeing bits from the wings etc etc, we were blown away.  It not only looked absolutely magnificent but the sound was spot on.  You know as well as I, that the sound in these sort of shows is always all over the place but last night it was perfect, nobody was drowned out (which is usually  the case)...

The quality of the sound for The King and I at The Stag Sevenoaks last week, even NODA were so impressed with the sound, (see attached.)
Your idea of "miking" the orchestra and creating a smaller opening on stage made all the difference, even my 93 year old very deaf "father in law" commented on the well balanced sound of the orchestra. As you say it gives you control of the whole performance and works very well.

We look forward to working with you again next year for Kiss me Kate.

Dear Steve

Thanks for doing such a great job at our showcase event last week. It was a big ask for you to engineer and cue for 22 professional acts in one day without time for proper sound checks. You certainly rose to the occasion and everyone concerned remarked on the perfect sound, your calm professionalism and the smooth running of the day. We really could not have made the event the great success that it was without you. We will  certainly be in touch again and we would happily recommend you to any act or organisation looking for a quality sound provider..

Kind regards

KDK have worked the EM Forster theatre on numerous occassions. First and foremost for me, I have found them to be totally reliable and organised. I know when they are in my theatre I can let them get on with it, confident the show from a sound point of view will be at a high quality. Steve is passionate about getting it right and will work on till he does. Their equipment is at a high spec which shows in the results. I always recommend them to all incoming shows.

MOADs Review

Maidstone Operatic Society, Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes” 30/3/09This is the fourth or fifth time I have used KDK Sound on a show and I owe them a huge thank you, especially for all their hard work in our recent production of Anything Goes. The sound was excellent, not an easy task when you have not only a large cast and several mic swaps but also having to mic up the hidden orchestra of 16 musicians to ensure a perfect mix. We move into the theatre on a Sunday and open the following night. They had 24 hours to get in, set up, E.Q. the cast and orchestra, and programme the cues before going live with an audience with amazing results. The audience loved the show, due in no small part to the excellent quality of the sound. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic attention to detail and fanatical about “getting it right”I’ve already booked them for next year and have recommended them to several other societies  Tony Cassidy.
